Welcome to Planet Rocket.
I am originally from Omaha Nebraska and lived in the surrounding cities most of my adult life.
I recently moved to Illinois but I travel to Nebraska frequently
When I started my web page in 2010, I was using "point and shoot cameras" for " Space" photos
I got the planet in view with a telescope , hold the camera over the eyepiece and snap the photo.
then I edited the photo on my computer in order to get the best colors and resolution.
Update 2012: I now use a Canon 1000D cameras for photos and a tripod. most of the shots of the "stars" are with a tripod and camera settings of ISO 400-1600 F 3.0-5.6 , 8-20 sec exposure, lens on manual.
Update 2015: I now have a Canon T3i and I must say, it takes outstanding astrophotography shots.
I am a member of a few Facebook astronomy sites ( listed on my link page) and people on those pages have helped me 100% along my journey with Astrophotography and Astronomy.
please feel free to browse around and have a look at the pictures/videos and links.
Thank You and enjoy your visit to Planet Rocket :)

What Factors Contribute to Car Insurance Prices?
Buying a new car is exciting, and making sure that you have taken precautions in case of an accident or emergency is something important to consider when you make your purchase. Finding cheap full coverage car insurance can be tricky http://www.poweryourjourney.com/Full_Coverage_Car_Insurance_Under__100.php , but here are a few tips to guide you as you select your agent.
What Kind of Car Do You Have?
If you are looking for coverage that is easier on your budget, first consider the year, make, and model of your automobile. Newer cars demand more safeguarding due to the expenses incurred should there be an accident or necessary repairs. Sports vehicles also have higher premiums for the same reason. Purchasing a vehicle with significant safety features, such as blind-spot assistance, will lower your rates.
What are Your Personal Circumstances?
There are a few things that can work against you when you are looking for a low-price quote. Having a clean driving record versus one with recorded accidents can dramatically reduce the price of your quote. Similarly, having a good-to-high credit score will improve your prices, as this demonstrates you are likely to keep up with your payments. Consider also where you live - zip codes with higher crime rates, more inclement weather, and a greater population density all contribute to higher premiums.
What Discounts are Available to You?
Do you have more than one car? See if your agent will lower your premium by including all of your vehicles. Can you bundle your insurance with other kinds? Homeowners, life, and others could help to lower your quote. Does your vehicle have anti-theft devices? Locking tires, an alarm, and other such devices can contribute to a smaller monthly premium. Are you considered a good driver? Having no speeding tickets or other traffic violations could qualify you for a discount too.
